As a child, I was described as a free spirit, determined, creative and curious. Throughout my journey, I have not lost these traits. I have experienced a number of life challenges as well as highlights which have enabled me to continue discovering, learning and reflect on self and life while developing my insight into the how and why. I delight in practicing as a Social Worker, working with young people, families, hearing their lived experiences, thinking about what is occurring and why and working together to reduce the impact. The values that guide my professional practice include authenticity, cooperation, courage, social justice and honesty.
I grew up in regional Victoria and studied in Brisbane and Melbourne. After working and residing overseas for over a decade, it was time to return home with my own family to Geelong to be closer to extended family. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to train under, and work alongside, industry leaders since returning to Australia, which has put me in the perfect position to open Wonderkind & Co.
In my spare time, I am happily painting, cooking for my family and friends whilst we plan our next adventures.
